What is Monica’s Launch Team?

Monica’s Launch Team is a group of readers who enjoy supporting new releases. Members receive occasional launch news, behind-the-scenes updates, and invitations to apply for advance reader copies when they are available.

What might I be asked to do?

Depending on the launch, members may read an advance copy, leave an honest review, recommend the book to other readers, or share release news through social media, a blog, or word of mouth. Participate only in the ways that feel natural to you.

Are advance reader copies guaranteed?

The number of advance copies may be limited, and availability can vary by release. Launch team members will be notified when applications open, but joining the team does not guarantee that you will receive a copy.

Do I have to participate in every launch?

Not at all. Join the launches that interest you and skip the ones that do not. Remaining on the team does not depend on participating every time.

Am I required to leave a review?

Reviews are never required, but they’re a big part of how launch teams help a new book find its readers. An honest, thoughtful review is always greatly appreciated. If you enjoy reading early, sharing your reactions, and helping spread the word about books you connect with, you’ll fit right in.

Do I need to purchase the book?

Purchasing a book is never required to join the Launch Team or to be considered for an advance copy. Readers who choose to support a release in other ways are equally appreciated.

What do Launch Team members receive?

How often will I receive emails?

Emails are sent primarily around active launches and advance-copy opportunities. You will not receive constant updates, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
